A bit of a change from my usual posts… but something I feel is just as (if not more!) important than nutrition and other aspects of health I usually discuss… MINDSET!
Over the last few months I have had some massive shifts in the way I think and see the world – there have been plenty of amazing influences -Blake Worrall-Thompson and Ozzie Mike (they run an awesome 16 week program – Living The Life), some incredible practitioners (Steph Brindal at Healthspace in Mona Vale and Ava Leonard from Be Well Health Collective), some pretty special friends (you know who you are!) and THE most amazing book – The Untethered Soul, by Michael Singer.
In my clinic I am seeing rising numbers of people dealing with stress, anxiety, depression or just generalised dissatisfaction, disconnectedness and unhappiness in their health and life. And this does not discriminate – kids, teens, adults, the elderly, men, women, rich, poor, single, married… I could go on! And while there are often many factors at play, I feel like mindset – the way we perceive and what we believe about the world, probably isn’t addressed deeply or frequently enough. I’m sure there will be more to come on this, but for now I hope it helps, and I REALLY recommend reading The Untethered Soul <3
